Senior Officers' Mess supports police children education
To support education for children of police officers, the President of the Senior Officers' Mess Committee, Mr Lau Yip-shing, presented a donation of $43 850 on behalf of the committee to Police Education and Welfare Trust on May 25. Chief Superintendent Bernie So of Personnel Services and Staff Relations (PS&RS) Branch received the donation on behalf of the Trust.
Thanking the committee for its continuous support for the Trust, Mr So said donations from Force members are an important source of income for the Police Children's Education Trust and the Police Education and Welfare Trust to help police children pursue their studies. Force members are welcome to support the trusts by joining the voluntary contribution scheme or sending their cheques to PS&SR Branch.
