The Road Safety Team of Traffic Kowloon West (RST T KW) adopts a multi-agency approach to promote road safety in conjunction with Road Safety Patrol Kowloon West (RSP KW) and Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) Company.

RSP KW Regional Commander, Mr Peter Leung Ching-wah, and Senior Manger of KMB Customer Services Quality Safety & Service Quality Department, Mr Raymond Cheng Kwai-hing, along with senior officers of RSP KW, KMB Safety Ambassadors and RST T KW officers, kicked off a road safety campaign at traffic accident black spots in Kowloon West to disseminate the Road User's Code to pedestrians on May 9.

In addition, RST T KW also assisted KMB in running a series of road safety seminars to educate over 100 bus drivers on proper driving manners and prevention of traffic accidents.

RST T KW has been working hard to reduce traffic accidents and educate the general public on road safety. It is encouraging that as a result of this effort, the traffic accident rate in Kowloon West in the first quarter of this year has dropped by 12.7 per cent, compared with the fourth quarter of last year.
