PCU donates $1.2m to Police Welfare Fund
To celebrate its 30th Anniversary, Police Credit Union (PCU) donated $1.2 million to the Police Welfare Fund (PWF) on May 31.
Accepting the donation on behalf of the Force from PCU Vice-President, Mr Leung Shun, Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung expressed his heart-felt thanks to PCU for its generosity, and wished it more prosperity in business in the years to come.
The PWF offers different welfare services for Force members, including financial assistance in terms of loans and grants to those in hardship; financial assistance to the sick and officers injured on duty and their families; grants for the further education of police officers; and organisation of healthy lifestyle and social activities.
