PLO seminar for frontline officers
Police Licensing Office (PLO) held on May 30 a seminar for about 200 officers from different formations to discuss the latest licensing-related matters. In the seminar, PLO officers gave presentations on matters of liquor licensing enforcement, the Liquor Licensing Review, the refined Arms Licensing Regime, and the latest amendments to Security Personnel Permit.
Guest speakers from the Office of the Licensing Authority, Home Affairs Department also gave talks on the Amusement Game Centres Ordinance and matters related to Electronic Darting Machines.
The seminar offered a platform for officers performing licensing-related duties to share experience and knowledge with their colleagues and to express their views on enforcement matters to PLO. The question-and-answer session saw them raising many questions and sharing the challenges they came across whilst taking enforcement actions.
