Officers busy on HKSAR Anniversary Day
The
ceremony heralded a host of other
celebration activities, with the highlight being a fireworks display
over the Victoria Harbour in the evening. About 300 000 people packed
vantage points on both sides of the harbour to
watch the spectacular display.
As the community got into the festive mood on the Anniversary Day, officers were well prepared and worked hard to ensure that celebration activities proceeded smoothly.
On the same day, the Government announced the 2012 Honours List, in which a total of 26 serving and retired members of the Force have been honoured.
