Force takes part in Asian Securitex |

The Force took part in the Asian Securitex 2012 held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 4 to 6. Representing the Force at the exhibition were Crime Prevention Bureau Chief Inspector James Robertson and officers from Regional Crime Prevention Offices, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit, Counter Terrorism Response Unit and Transport Branch. In the exhibition, the Force displayed a variety of equipment, including vehicles of the latest models, electric scooters, counter-terrorism equipment, bomb disposal robot, Robotcop and crime prevention materials. Through the display, the Force succeeded in disseminating crime prevention messages to over 10 000 visitors. The Force also exchanged crime prevention knowledge with the security industries of other Asian countries in an effort to elevate the service standard of the local security industry and to enhance the Force's international image.
