WCHDIST Fight Crime Publicity Drive
Wan Chai District (WCHDIST) joined forces with Wan Chai District Council, Wan Chai District Fight Crime Committee and Wan Chai District Office in kicking off a Fight Crime Publicity Drive with a concert on August 19.
After officiating at an opening ceremony in the Leighton Hill Community Hall, Wan Chai District Officer, Miss Angela Luk; Wan Chai District Council Chairman, Mr Suen Kai-cheong; Wan Chai District Fight Crime Committee Chairman, Mr Chan Hing-ming; and WCHDIST Commander Lam Man-sai led members of the District Fight Crime Committee and Area Committee to distribute anti-crime leaflets and souvenirs to shops and the general public in Wan Chai and Happy Valley. The souvenirs carry messages on looking after personal belongings and prevention of telephone deception and an appeal to youngsters to stay away from drugs.
