"Keep running, Keep going" is the slogan of the Police Tactical Unit (PTU) Bravo Running Club. One may easily give up running after PTU training, especially in the hot summer. But the running club believes running is a kind of training that not only builds up team spirit, but also allows officers to pursue a healthy lifestyle and keep up their physical strength for operational needs.

Bravo Running Club members usually jog from Kowloon West Operation Base to Kowloon Chai Park for lap run or interval training before or after work. The aim of Bravo Running Club is to spread the message that running can be a self-strengthening activity as well as a social one to build up coherent brotherhood. From warming-up to running practice, we get involved and have rapport.

A healthy lifestyle requires one's active participation and a PTU healthy lifestyle is based on a concentric force. On June 8, our supportive leaders, Deputy Regional Commander Kowloon West, Mr David Cartwright, and Superintendent Emergency Unit Kowloon West, Mr Kung Tat-hung, joined our running and gave us tremendous encouragement and support. The wonderful weather, sweats and joyful smiles spoke louder than words that running is indeed enjoyable and keeps everyone going for future challenges.

Public Order Events are ahead of us and so are challenges. With interval training, our cardio fitness and muscle strength would help us deal with major operations with ease and confidence. In short, we are more prepared then ever.
