CSWDIV actively launches crime prevention drives in the hope that through education, publicity and intelligence gathering, police would forge a closer partnership with the community in fighting crime and, more importantly, in making the estate residents more aware of crime prevention. As a result, CSWDIV, Sham Shui Po District Police Community Relations Office and Kowloon West Regional Crime Prevention Office jointly held a Crime Prevention Seminar at Mei Foo Sun Chuen Community Centre on August 20 for over 100 residents. On hand to show their support for the event were the Vice Chairman of Sham Shui Po District Council, Mr Wong Tat-tung, and representatives from the Owner's Corporations in the housing estate. |
