T KW extends road safety to NEC kids
There was a slight decrease in traffic accidents involving fatality and injuries in Kowloon West Region in the period from January to August this year, compared with the same period last year. Despite this encouraging development, Traffic Kowloon West (T KW) is still conducting strategic operations to combat traffic offences.
The Road Safety Team of T KW adopts a multi-agency approach and co-operate with other stakeholders to reduce fatal and serious traffic accidents. Recently the team specially organised a road safety carnival for the Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) community. The event attracted a large number of NEC kids with game booths and various activities.
The team also staged a Road Safety Angel Talent Show to promote road safety when students from five kindergartens in Kowloon West Region treated the guests and participants to various performances with preventing road accidents as a theme, earning loud applause.
The
kids stage a performance to preach the Road Safety Vision
