Road Safety Campaign in SSPODIST
Kowloon West Traffic Day was held on August 29 when District Councillors, President of the Junior Police Call, Chairman of the Publicity Working Group, Road Safety Campaign Committee, Police Community Relation Officer, District Traffic Team officers and Fight Crime Veterans, all from Sham Shui Po District (SSPODIST), joined hands to stage a promotion event to raise local residents’ awareness of road safety.
The promotion team headed for Cheung Sha Wan Road, Nam Cheong Street and Yu Chau Street in three parties to hand out publicity leaflets and souvenirs to the public, hammering home the significance of attaining the vision, “Zero Accidents on the Road - Hong Kong’s Goal”.
