CTRU volunteers support Special Marathon
Twenty-two members of the Counter Terrorism Response Unit (CTRU) pitched in for the "i-Run Hong Kong Jockey Club Special Marathon 2013" organised by Tung Wah Groups of Hospitals in the Chinese University of Hong Kong on January 22.
The event attracted more than 2,000 runners with intellectual disabilities from Hong Kong, Macao, the Mainland and Taiwan. The CTRU volunteers performed the roles as pair-up runners and photographers and manned play stalls. The event aimed at offering an opportunity for the intellectual handicapped to enjoy sporting activities with the able-bodied so as to promote social integrity.
