Kwai Tsing District (KWTDIST) is operating a mobile service counter called "Police Clinic" under its District Project COMPAX to collect information and intelligence, and monitor complaints with a service-oriented approach.

Officers also distribute anti-crime leaflets to the public, with focus on specific crime trends. Emphasising on two-way communication, KWTDIST is inviting the public to comment on police services, and this approach has earned the public's confidence and appreciation.

Under the District Action Plan for 2013, the scale of the "Police Clinic" has been expanded and local stakeholders, including District Councillors, District Fight Crime Committee (DFCC) members, security personnel and elderly volunteers, are invited to participate in the project to help police disseminate crime prevention messages.

Meanwhile in a bid to promote anti-crime messages, particularly those on house burglary and telephone and street scams, Tsing Yi Division launched the first large-scale "Police Clinic" on January 16.  During the Winter Precaution period, officers of the Division and New Territories South Regional Crime Prevention Office, together with representatives from Kwai Tsing DFCC, Mutual Aid Committee and Management Office of Cheung Hang Estate, students of Project "Yi Jin" and elderly volunteers from "Silver Harrier" Project, handed out copies of a leaflet on crime prevention to the public.

Many volunteers are giving the project a big help
