KTDIST Commander brings
crime prevention messages to
villagers
Kwun Tong Police District (KTDIST) Commander Chau Cho-kei paid a visit to the villages in the vicinity of Tseng Lan Shue and Mang Kung Uk on February 2 in a bid to disseminate messages on prevention of burglary and telephone deception, promote the scheme of "One Flat One Alarm" and encourage villagers to assist police in combatting crime.
Joining Mr Chau in the visit were Chairman of Hang Hau Rural Committee, Mr Shing Hon-keung, Chairman of Sai Kung District Fight Crime Committee, Mr Lau Wai-cheung, Sai Kung District Councillor, Mr Yau Yuk-lun, Tseung Kwan O Divisional Commander (TKODIV) Lai Chi-man, officers of KTDIST Police Community Relations Office and Crime Prevention Unit, as well as Elderly Fight Crime Ambassadors.
During the visit, Mr Shing expressed his gratitude to police for looking after the needs of villagers, and assured Mr Chau that the villagers would continue to support police in fighting crime.
