Police volunteers help out in charity run

The Second Peninsula Hong Kong Young Lions Charity Run took place recently at Pak Shek Kok Promenade near Hong Kong Science Park, drawing more than 800 runners and with 30 Rainbow Police Volunteers giving a helping hand at the invitation of the Leo Club of Peninsula Lion Hong Kong.

The objectives of the run were to offer the participants an opportunity to challenge themselves in long-distance runs and to raise funds for charity projects in the mountainous areas in Guangxi and reconstruction of school buildings to improve learning environment for children.
