A joint operation between Narcotics Bureau (NB) and the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) in February led to neutralisation of a trans-national drug trafficking syndicate and a record drug haul in Sabah. 

 

On May 27, Police Commissioner Datuk Noor Rashid bin Ibrahim from RMP, led a delegation to call on the Force and expressed his special thanks to Assistant Commissioner (Crime) Lo Mung-hung. He also presented certificates of appreciation to 10 NB officers, including Superintendent Ma Shun-kwong, Chief Inspector Au Yeung Siu-kong and Senior Inspector Raymond Chou from NB's Operations Section.  Both Mr Lo and Datuk Noor Rashid pledged to continue to work closely to combat international drug trafficking
