The 16th Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region (HKSAR) was observed with a flag-raising ceremony at the Golden Bauhinia Square and a reception in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on July 1.

Attending the flag-raising ceremony in the morning were the Chief Executive, Mr C. Y. Leung, principal officials and dignitaries.

Meanwhile, a total of 47 serving and retired members of the Force have been honoured in the 2013 Honours List. The list of the award recipients of the Force is published on the centrespread.
