Marine Region retained the title of the MacDonald Cup Inter-Major Formation Basketball Tournament at Police Sports and Recreation Club on June 7, beating New Territories North Region, second runner-up in the last tournament, 67 - 60. Kowloon West Region won the third place by edging out Hong Kong Island Region 45 - 31.

 

Meanwhile, Marine Outer Waters District reigned in the Leslie-Luscombe Cup Inter-Formation Basketball Tournament in April again for five times in a row, followed by Operations Wing of the New Territories North Region and Security Wing as first and second runners-up respectively.
