The Security Unit (SCU) of the Business Services Bureau of Information Security Wing conducted a briefing session on June 14 to update officers from New Territories South Region on matters related to information security.

 

Besides an update on prevention of data leakage, information security guidelines, and the special features of smart warrant card as well as development of its various applications, SCU officers, led by Chief Inspector Sean Lin, also offered tips on preparation of annual information security audit.

 

The seminar not only heightened the participants' awareness of the importance of information security, but also beefed up the professional knowledge of officers performing information security check duties.
