Murder in Shau Kei Wan

Police are investigating a murder case in which a 45-year-old man was killed in Shau Kei Wan early this (May 10) morning.

At about 1.30 am, Police received a report that an injured person was found outside a public toilet in Aldrich Bay Playground, Nam On Street, Shau Kei Wan.

Responding to the call, Police officers sped to the scene and located a man lying unconscious on the ground with cut wounds on his neck and chest.

The man was certified dead at scene. Police investigation revealed that the deceased was earlier attacked by a knife wielding man outside the public toilet.

The suspect later fled toward Aldrich Street, Oi Tung Estate after the attack.

Investigation by District Crime Squad, Eastern is continuing.
