Container truck driver died in traffic accident in Tuen Mun

A container truck driver was killed in a traffic accident in Tuen Mun this afternoon (October 6).

About 3 pm today, the 23-year-old container truck driver was travelling along Wong Chu Road towards the northern bound of Tuen Mun Road. At the slip road of Wong Chu road near the junction of Tuen Mun Road, the container truck lost control and side-turned to the nearside.

The man, who sustained serious injuries, was certified dead by the doctor at the scene at 1547 hours.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are under way.
