Murder and suicide case in Tin Shui Wai

Police are investigating a possible murder-suicide case in Tin Shui Wai this morning (October 14) in which a 36-year-old woman, a 12-year-old girl, and a 9-year-old boy were found dead.

About 4 am, Police received a report that three people were on the ground outside Yiu Fung House, Tin Yiu Estate, Tin Shui Wai.

The three people were subsequently confirmed dead by ambulancemen at the scene.

Initial investigations revealed that they had fallen from a flat in Yiu Fung House. The hands and legs of the 12-year-old girl were tied with rope and the hands of the 9-year-old boy were also tied.

A post-mortem examination will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death.

Investigations by District Crime Squad of Yuen Long are continuing.
