Appeal for information about abandoned baby boy (with photo)

Police are anxious to locate the next-of-kin of a baby boy who was found abandoned in Tsuen Wan on Monday (October 29).

The baby, estimated to be between 5 and 21 days old, was found on the staircase of a residential building on Sha Tsui Road about 4.50pm on Monday. A report was then made to the Police.

About 53 centimetres in height, the baby boy was wearing a blue jacket and was wrapped in a pink blanket when found. A plastic bag with some baby clothes, nappies and feeding bottles was beside him.

Police urged relatives of the baby or anyone who has information to offer to contact the investigating officers at 2417 5265.
