"Interactive Anti-Drug Theatre - A Space Study Adventure"

In response to the challenges posed by “Space Oil Drug”, the Narcotics Bureau has introduced a new interactive theatre production this year. This initiative is designed to deliver anti- drug messages to students through engaging and innovative means. Actors will guide students on a space study tour, where they will confront various drug temptations.

The Narcotics Bureau hosted the Principal’s Preview for the “Interactive Anti-Drug Theatre – A Space Study Adventure” at the Police Officers’ Club on 25March. Featuring the theme of the emerging “Space Oil Drug”, this innovative interactive theatre aims to spread anti-drug messages to upper primary students and guide them to stay drug-free, thereby safeguarding schools from “Space Oil Drug”.

The Preview attracted over 200 participants, including representatives from sponsoring bodies, principals, teachers and students from 50 primary schools to explore the brand-new experience in anti-drug education. The theatre has introduced a new storyboard featuring two students who guide the audience on a study adventure aimed at resisting drug temptation, providing students with a thought-provoking experience that enhances their understanding of the dangers of drug abuse. Through interactive elements and critical questioning, participants are empowered to stay vigilant against "Space Oil Drug", dispelling myths with a cautious approach.

Standing as the Police NB’s first flagship publicity campaign on “Space Oil Drug” for 2025, the Interactive Anti-Drug Theatre – A Space Study Adventure” will be staged in primary schools across the territory since March. Each performance will last about 30 minutes, serving up to 200 upper primary students.
