To strengthen the intelligence network of the Force, private veterinarians, animal concern groups and the general public are encouraged to report to Police any suspicious activities of cruelty to animals. The Force maintains close liaison with various stakeholders to exchange intelligence and monitor the trend of cruelty to animals.
Frontline formations will make good use of the existing intelligence gathering mechanisms and identify potential blackspots of animal cruelty in the districts, so as to plan appropriate actions to combat such crimes.
