1. Video Recorded Interview for Blind or Mentally Handicapped Suspects
In order to better safeguard the rights of the blind or mentally handicapped suspects, their interviews with police are to be conducted by way of video recording.
2. Photographing of Injured MIP Victims
Before taking photos of an injured MIP victim, written consent from an appropriate adult must be obtained. Photographing of the sensitive body parts of the victim should only be considered in exceptional circumstances, i.e. the photographing is essential in proving or depicting the extent and condition of the injury of a serious offence, and no other evidence such as medical or forensic report can serve the same purpose.
