We work together, smile together and we love each other.

“JPC is another home for me,” my friend told me in March. At that time, I did not understand what he was talking about, until I joined JPC in Kwai Tsing District.

You may ask what activity impressed me most and made me feel JPC is my second home. I definitely would say “the orienteering expedition”, an activity that helps participants get to know more about places in Kwai Tsing District.

My job was standing at a checkpoint with my partner and making sure the teams did not break any rules during the competition. Before that, we needed to mark the checkpoints on the map. I have never had such a great feeling working as part of a team. We laughed, chatted, and took photos while doing the preparation. It was both fun and relaxing.

May 19 was the big day! We had breakfast together while the leader told the participants about the rules. Everything went smoothly. I could tell both helpers and participants enjoyed a lot throughout the day. I found myself getting closer with some friends especially when they tried to involve me into every part to make me feel comfortable and they cared about me. I felt so warm at that time.

Now I am also proud to tell others, “JPC is another home for me."
