The Bicycle Safety Ambassador Appointment Ceremony was held splendidly and solemnly in Tai Po on 6 July 2014, in which I was appointed as one of the Bicycle Safety Ambassadors who would be responsible for promoting cycling safety in Districts.
Despite the hot weather, every participant was holding the faith to promote road safety. From the slogan “Safe Cycling”, we all knew that the best cyclist is not defined by how fast one can ride, but how safely he or she does.
All of us were stunned by the artistic cycling show during the ceremony. The performers rode the bicycles with agility. The light acrobatic movements were extremely beautiful. I was glad to have the chance to see such a show. After the ceremony, we enjoyed cycling along the Tai Po Waterfront Promenade.
