I have taken up the post of executive committee member of my school’s JPC for a year, which is a never ever relaxing job full of challenges.
My fellow members and I have lots of work to do, ranging from producing a display board on JPC for School Open Day to planning anti-crime promotion activities. We also gather around to discuss the details of upcoming activities every month, such as selecting suitable venues, setting game rules, as well as exploring ways to attract participants. More importantly, we need to ensure that our crime prevention messages are getting across. I have put much effort to improve writing skills so that I can write convincing messages to catch the attention of our target audience.
Through these activities, I have developed critical thinking skills and learned to think deeply like a little event manager! I would like to pursue a career in the marketing field in the future. It is hard to spell out all I have acquired in the past year, and I believe that there are still many more treasures for me to dig out.
