I am grateful to be given such a great opportunity joining JPC Exchange programme, which I have never joined before. Although it was my second time visiting Singapore, this visit has significantly widened my horizons since we had been brought to some special places like the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) and the island which is restricted from visit. Therefore, this trip was really meaningful to me.
The most unforgettable place we have been was the Interpol. It is restricted from citizen visit due to security concern and I was glad that we have this great chance. Initially, I thought Interpol is similar to police which they also need to encounter dangerous situations with their enemies. In fact, they are the intermediator between countries’ police force. In addition, I was excited to communicate with the local National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC). Even though we have not taken part in any advanced activities like rock climbing and rope nets due to the bad weather. We spent our time on interacting with NPCC members about their daily life or some differences between the JPC in Hong Kong and the NPCC in Singapore. We have learnt and understood a lot from them.
Finally, I would like to thank the presidents of JPC for giving me such a great chance to join this exchange programme. It is a memorable experience.
