I joined a Mother’s Day cake decorating class organised by the TKO JPC on the 5th of May to prepare a chocolate cake decorated with a chocolate photo frame, balloons, flowers and cartoon cards for my respectable mum.

Although the class was held online through Zoom, the steps were straightforward to follow. Also, the tutor was gentle and patient enough for us to raise questions when necessary. We were free to put our family photos in the chocolate photo frame to make our cake special and unique. It was appreciable that the cake mold is re-usable for the next event.

It was a warm and meaningful activity to celebrate Mother’s Day and I was thrilled to make a colorful and sweet festive present for my mum. My family and I enjoyed the cake very much and I hope to participate in similar activities next time with my family and friends.
