At the end of January 2022, it was a wonderful day, when I went to Cheung Chau with my parents. I had my expectation before the trip because my parents planned to spend their holiday. Let me share with you below.

This morning, after having breakfast, we went to Central Ferry Piers by bus and to Cheung Chau by Star Ferry. Two hours later, we arrived at our destination. I felt very excited and enjoyable. I saw a lot of people on the road there and the place surrounding me was lively. After lunch, we hurried to Cheung Po Tsai Cave to which we had never gone.

The cave is a natural cave where the famous Guandong pirate, Cheung Po Tsai, kept his treasures according to legend. It is located on Hong Kong's outlying island of Cheung Chau and is a popular attraction of it. No treasures have been found in the cave. When we saw the narrow cave, we didn't enter it because it was very dangerous if we had no torch.

Besides this, we walked around the hill and enjoyed the beautiful scenery near the seashore. For example, I liked seeing a lot of emerald trees on the hill, hearing some birds on trees singing and some ships were sailing in the sea. There, I took some photos with my parents. In the evening, I should say goodbye to Cheung Chau.

I consider Cheung Chau is a great place for a family outing. There is a chance for my family to go to Cheung Po Tsai cave and walk around the hill to enjoy the beautiful scenery. I get an unforgettable experience from the trip. I hope I can go to Cheung Chau again.
