The Police Arts Council Annual Award was introduced last year to recognise the outstanding achievements and contributions arts club members have made to their arts. 

 

The Police Arts Council Annual Award 2012 Ceremony was held in Police Sports and Recreation Club on September 24 when Police Arts Council Chairperson, Ms Winnie Chiu, presented certificates to seven awardees. 

 

The awardees are Mr Ho Wai-lim, retired Sergeant (SGT), of Police Children's Choir; Ms Fong Ching-yi, retired SGT, of Police Choir; Ms Tong Chung-fan, Senior Inspector (SIP), of Police Handicraft Club; Ms Kwong Yin-mei, Clerical Assistant, of Police Harmonica Club; Mr Tse Kwan-kau, retired Technician, of Police Painting and Calligraphy Club; Mr Tai Siu-tong, retired SSGT, of Police Philatelic Club; and Mr Wong Chan-chung, retired SIP, of Police Pop Music Club.  

 

After the presentation, some awardees demonstrated their arts and shared their experiences, while the others gave impromptu musical performances to the delight of the guests.
