The Force Library has received donation of Prof Jao Tsung-I's art portfolio, including a collection of over 140 volumes in 60 titles, from the Jao Tsung-I Petite Ecole in University of Hong Kong. In addition, Prof Jao has personally made an inscription with his unique calligraphy to praise Force members for their high level of professionalism.

Prof Jao is a world-renowned Sinologist with profound knowledge in Chinese classical studies. Most of the books from the donation introduce Prof Jao's artworks. The valuable books enrich the Force Library's collection and enable Force members to gain a better insight into Chinese culture.

The donation is a big event for the Force, showing Prof Jao's expectations of, and care for, the Force. To mark the significance of the event, the Force Library held an opening ceremony for its Jao's Corner on September 26, with Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung, Prof Lee Chack-fan, Director of the Jao Tsung-I Petite Ecole, and Dr Tang Wai-hung, Curator of the Jao Tsung-I Petite Ecole, performing the ribbon-cutting.

Force members are welcome to browse the valuable artworks and appreciate the calligraphic works of Prof Jao in the Force Library.
