To fight cross-boundary telephone deception and strengthen intelligence exchange network, Crime Kowloon East (CRM KE) had a working meeting with a delegation from the Economic Crimes Division of Macao Judiciary Police (MJP) on October 29.

 

CRM KE Acting Senior Superintendent (SSP) Chau Hin-hung from the Force designated unit for tackling telephone deception met the MJP delegation, which was headed by Sub-inspector Chan Cho-man. Noting telephone deception is a prevalent cross-boundary crime, SSP Chau said it was essential for the stakeholders concerned to work together to deal with the problem.  The MJP visit would enhance the co-operation and strengthen the intelligence exchange network between Hong Kong and Macao, he said.

 

Both parties pledged to continue strengthening liaison network and co-operation.
