Traffic New Territories South (T NTS) has launched an e-mail network known as "Wise Drive Network" to disseminate important road safety messages to the supervisors of companies with large vehicle fleets for onward passing to their drivers.
T NTS Superintendent Chan Hoi-lung officiated at a kick-off ceremony at NTS Regional Headquarters on November 13 before representatives from 11 organisations, including Airport Authority, Aviation Security Co. Ltd, Asia Container Terminals Ltd and CLP Power HK Ltd, etc.
Through the e-mail network, T NTS will send road safety messages, including the Transport Department Bulletin, traffic accident trend, accident blacksites, and messages to enhance road safety awareness of road users.
T NTS Senior Superintendent Pat Laidler points out that the "Wise Drive Network" is not a replacement for the face- to- face work of the Road Safety Office but an effective supplement for resources. T NTS will continue to work hand in hand with its partners and the private sector to reduce traffic accidents and enhance road safety.
