The Hong Kong Police Chinese Wushu Club offered a two-hour martial art performance for the "Kung Fu Corner" programme held at the Sculpture Walk in Kowloon Park on November 3. The programme drew over 200 spectators, including locals and tourists.
The "Kung Fu Corner" performance, a free entertainment offered by the Hong Kong Martial Arts Dragon and Lion Dance Association and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department every Sunday, aims at promoting the traditional Chinese culture of "Kung Fu", also known as "Wushu". The Wushu Club took part in the performance with a view to motivating its members to train hard and perfect their martial art skills while promoting a healthy lifestyle at the same time.
With the experience gained from its performance last year, the club improved this year's programme in every aspect, making their performance more exciting and entertaining.
