The "Hong Kong Police YouTube Video Shooting Competition", organised by Police Public Relations Branch (PPRB), was held between April and September with the objectives of strengthening community engagement, helping the community better understand the Force, projecting the Force's image, and garnering community support.

 

The themes of the entries covered police work, police life, or healthy lifestyle in Police Formation/Cadre/Club, Group, and Individual categories.

 

Thanks to the overwhelming support from formations and officers, a total of 29 entries were received. Selection was made on October 10 by an adjudication panel composing Kwun Tong District Fight Crime Committee (DFCC) Chairperson, Mr Chau Yiu-ming; Southern DFCC Chairperson, Mr Leung Ho-kwan; North DFCC Chairperson, Dr Yuen Pong-yiu; MKDIST JPC Honorary President, Ms Chan Heung-lin; KWTDIST JPC Honorary President, Mr Chung Chi-hung; MPDIST JPC Honorary President, Mr Wan Wai-hung; RTHK Executive Producer, Ms Mak Lai-ching; Assistant Commissioner (Support) Lam Man-wing and PPRB Senior Superintendent Kong Man-keung.  

 

Director of Operations Wong Chi-hung officiated at the prize presentation ceremony at Police Headquarters on November 19.

 

PPRB will continue to establish a close partnership with formations, cadres, clubs and video shooting  enthusiasts and groups for enriching the content of HKP YouTube.
