To support the Force Information Security Strategy and remind frontline officers to adopt a proper attitude towards information security, Sha Tin District (STDIST) has appointed 53 "InfoSec Ambassadors", who are officers and civilian staff members.

 

The roles of an "InfoSec Ambassador" are to protect Force information, prevent unauthorised or accidental access to or disclosure of the information, and ensure the information's confidentiality, integrity and availability.

 

In a ceremony on June 17, District Commander So Kam-tong presented an appointment letter and a booklet containing tips on how to minimise the risk of information leakage to each "InfoSec Ambassador".
