Kowloon West (KW) Region Crime Wing, in coordination with Mongkok District, hosted an exchange forum on crime prevention for small and medium enterprises (SME) and business representatives in KW Region on September 18.

 

Speaking at the forum, which drew an overwhelming response from nearly 100 representatives from SMEs and property management companies, Mongkok District Commander Chung Sze-pong encouraged the participants to enhance their awareness of security measures, and provide information on combating and preventing crime. Members of the Yau Tsim Mong District Fight Crime Committee were on hand to support the forum.

 

The forum focused on prevailing crimes, including Internet and technology crimes, authenticity of credit cards and banknotes, as well as security of offices and shops, with Detective Station Sergeant So Chun-fung from KW Regional Crime Prevention Office as one of the forum speakers. The participants welcomed the exchange forum and hoped it would become a regular community interactive event.
