SSPODIST
 
The Narcotics Division of the Security Bureau and the Action Committee Against Narcotics (ACAN) stepped up anti-drug publicity efforts shortly before Christmas and New Year, including a major publicity drive in Shamshuipo District (SSPODIST). On December 11, 2014, ACAN Chairman, Prof Daniel Shek, Commissioner for Narcotics, Mrs Erika Hui, and members of ACAN and its Sub-committee, together with the Chairman of the Shamshuipo District Council (DC), Mr Jimmy Kwok, Chairman of the Shamshuipo District Fight Crime Committee (DFCC), Dr Cheng Kam-chung, Shamshuipo District Officer, Mr Benjamin Mok, and Deputy District Commander Shamshuipo, Ms Angela Ng, handed out anti-drug publicity fliers to local residents at Lei Cheng Uk Estate.
 
TMDIST
 
Led by Tuen Mun District (TMDIST) Commander Iain McNicol, Tuen Mun DFCC Chairman and Tuen Mun District Officer, a Fight Crime Bus Parade was launched on December 5 to alert the public to quick cash crimes, technology crimes, theft, scams and burglary, with the assistance of Tuen Mun DFCC, Tuen Mun District Office, New Territories North Regional Crime Prevention Office, Tuen Mun Senior Police Call members, as well as Non-ethnic Chinese Fight Crime Ambassadors. All the organisers and their supporters boarded an open-top bus to tour the district, broadcasting fight-crime messages and distributing leaflets, banners, red packets and souvenirs to shops and the public on the way.
 
HKI Region
 
The Regional Crime Prevention Office of Hong Kong Island Region (RCPO HKI) mounted a crime prevention publicity drive at the 49th Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo in Victoria Park on December 20 to remind visitors to the Expo to beware of theft, pickpocketing, phone and street scams, technology crimes as well as sexual crimes.  
 
The Teens and Elderly Mission Committee and 38 students from Pui Kiu Middle School, Sacred Heart Canossian College, Ho Tung Secondary School and Marymount Primary School were on hand to assist as "Crime Prevention Pioneers" in handing out crime prevention fliers to the public inside and outside the Expo venue. Teens and Elderly Mission Committee Vice-chairman, Dr Liu Kai-ming, also distributed crime prevention calendars published by his committee.
 
WDIST
 
Western District (WDIST) joined forces with Central and Western DFCC, Central and Western DC and Central and Western District Office in kicking off a year-end fight crime publicity campaign on December 17.
 
Speaking at the ceremony, Acting WDIST Commander Kan Kai-yan called on the community to stay vigilant against scams and take good care of their property. He also appointed 26 Senior Police Call members as "Evergreen Fight Crime Ambassadors", forging a police-community partnership in preventing and fighting crime. The publicity campaign drew to a close following distribution of fight crime souvenirs and fliers.
