With the sponsorship of the Narcotics Division, Lantau District (LTDIST) and the Volunteer Orienteering Club jointly offered "Drug-wise Orienteering Competition 2014" to young people at Ngong Ping on Lantau Island on December 14. The organisers hoped the event would help the participants develop healthy lifestyles and steer clear of crimes and drugs.

 

The organisers were delighted that the participants not only received physical training but also developed team spirit and ability to control emotions and learned discipline. They also pledged to pass on crime prevention and anti-drug messages to their peers. 

 

The event also offered fun-filled educational booths and anti-drug fliers to the public as well as advice for parents on how to detect signs of drug abuse among their children.
