The mentees of Yuen Long District's Project HIMALAYA participated in the "HK our home, we love HK" Ethnic Minorities Cultural Fair on January 11, which was hosted by Yuen Long Town Hall and sponsored by Yuen Long District Council for disseminating crime prevention messages and promoting ethnic harmony.

 

The mentees set up booths to introduce Project HIMALAYA and distributed fight crime fliers to enhance public awareness of fighting drugs, social media scams and home security. They also gave singing and dancing performances, earning loud applauses from the audience. 

 

Through their participation in the event, the mentees boned their organising skills, boosted their sense of social responsibility and integrated with the community.
