The winners of Eastern District's (EDIST) thematic drawing competition received prizes on December 20 from the honourable guests, including the chairmen of the Eastern District Board and the Eastern District Fight Crime Committee, Eastern District Councillors as well as Junior Police Call (JPC) Honorary Presidents. Following the prize presentation was a Fight Crime Carnival.

 

EDIST held the drawing competition in September last year with a view to promoting harmony among the Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) and strengthening the mutual trust between the police and the general public. The contest drew over 500 entries to the categories of EDIST JPC, EDIST Community Ambassador (NEC) and EDIST Senior Police Call.
