The Police Ladies Hockey Team took third place in the 42nd Hockey Festival of the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, held in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 6 and 7 last year. Comprising both regular and auxiliary officers, the team gave a very credible account of themselves whilst taking on teams from Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Indonesia and Australia.

 

A "Hong Kong Police Old Boy" team, formed by serving and retired local and expatriate Force members, also competed in the tournament.

 

The local Hockey League normally runs between September and May.  The Police Hockey Club will field teams for both men's and ladies' open leagues run by the Hong Kong Hockey Association. The club is recruiting members and those interested may call 6172-6955 for Men's Team, or 9090-6076 For Ladies' Team.
