Police Licensing Office arranged an annual night visit programmed for members of the Liquor Licensing Board (LLB) and representatives from other government departments on March 14. 

 

That evening, LLB Chairman, Mr Yau How-boa, LLB members, Permanent Secretary for Food and Health Bureau, Director of Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, and officers from Fire Service Department, Buildings Department and Environmental Protection Department visited nightclubs, pubs and bars in Yuen Long and Mong Kok. They also had discussions with the police on handling complaints against liquor-licensed premises and the problems the police had faced in handling such complaints.

 

The night visit provided an opportunity for both the police and other stakeholders to exchange views on regulating liquor-license premises.
