The Chairman of the Hong Kong Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Association, Mr Li Ping-san, and the owner of a motors company, Mr Ma Sing-wai, called at Yuen Long District (YLDIST) on March 11 and thanked officers for taking prompt action to crack a case of vehicle theft.

 

As a token of their appreciation, they presented pennants to District Commander Tsang Cheung-tat, Assistant District Commander (Crime), Ngao Chi-shung, Chief Inspector (Crime) Wong Yick-lung, the Officer-in-Charge of District Investigation Team (DIT) 11, Inspector Chan Pak-ki, and her team members.

 

DIT officers arrested several suspects and recovered two stolen vehicles within three days after taking over investigation of the theft case in January.
