With the support of the Police Rope Course Club and New Home Association, Sham Shui Po District (SSPODIST) Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) Volunteer Group offered a challenge rope course on March 28 for NEC young people to hone their communication skills, self-confidence, team spirit and discipline. The following day, the SSPO NEC Volunteer Group coordinated with Muslim groups in arranging a day tour for about 40 NEC primary and secondary students. During the tour, they visited Sham Shui Po Police Station, Police Museum and former Police Married Quarters.

 

The SSPO NEC Volunteer Group was formed in August last year to work with non-governmental organisations in organising community events.  The main objective of the group is to help the NEC understand more about police work and integrate into the community.
