The Deputy Inspector-general of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Public Security, Mr An Xiaohui, led 24 delegates to visit the Force and other government departments in Hong Kong between April 20 and 24. The main objective of the visit was to strengthen the exchange and co-operation between Mainland Public Security Authorities and the Force in forensic examination.

 

The delegation studied Hong Kong's judicial process and criminal procedures, and the Force's forensics capability. Mr An also paid a courtesy call on Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Wong Chi-hung.

 

Coming from different provinces, the forensic experts of the delegation visited Organized Crime and Triad Bureau, Identification Bureau, Liaison Bureau, Crime New Territories South and the Mock Court of Police College.
