The Internal Investigations Office (IIO) has launched the latest issue of "Corruption and Misconduct Prevention Bulletin (CMPB)". Through scenarios modified from real incidents, the new CMPB serves as a timely reminder to prevent Force members from falling into integrity-related pitfalls.
The CMPB covers six scenarios modified from real incidents of serious misconduct recently encountered by Force members. There is also a new column - "Smart Tips for Integrity Management", which offers a reminder of the provisions on soliciting and accepting loans of money, laid down in "2010 Acceptance of Advantages (Chief Executive's Permission) Notice".
Hardcopies of the latest issue of CMPB have been sent to Training and Staff Relations Officers for distribution to Force members. Officers may also browse the new CMPB through Ethics Corner in POINT. Force members having any suggestions on the new CMPB may contact Chief Inspector (NT IIO) Kong Wing-cheung.
